Agaton is more deadly than Typhoon Yolanda?

Before fully developing into tropical depression Agaton, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) accomplished thirty-seven (37) deaths, sixty-five (65) injured and seven (7) missing  in Mindanao, Philippines, specifically,  in Regions IX, X, XI and CARAGA.

In this aspect, Agaton is more deadly than Typhoon Yolanda because the latter  did accomplish nothing when it was merely a low pressure area.

Of the nineteen (19) incidents reported, sixteen (16) were landslides and three (3) were floodings/flashflood.

Affected were 498 bgys in 73 municipalities in 14 provinces. (NDRRMC update dated Jan. 17, 2014, 7:00 p.m).

In the recent update of Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical & Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) (January 19, 2014: 5:40 am) , tropical depression Agaton, which covers the following areas, namely, Surigao del Norte including Siargao Island, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Province, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Davao Oriental and Compostella Valley under signal # 1, is noted to be slow compared to Typhoon Yolanda.

However, if LPA was able to kill 37  individuals by landslides and floodings, the more destruction is expected in a seemingly stationary weather disturbance like tropical depression Agaton. The estimate maybe wrong but let’s wait for the resulting statistics.

Previously, this site published an article “Nazarene Feast: bigger threat is felt” and Filipinos were forewarned of the idolatry effects of such practice more worst than Sto. Nino idolatry, which was shown by Cebuanos, while being interviewed in television immediately after Bohol-Cebu earthquake. This earthquake destroyed ten (10) historic Roman Catholic Building being alleged by Filipinos as “churches“.

Black Nazarene was able to seduce more than ten million Filipino devotees and in terms of  physical appearance, it is bigger than Sto. Nino. Logically therefore, the ongoing devastation would be more bigger than Typhoon Yolanda, more so, when Black Nazarene idolatry was recently compounded by Sto. Nino feast in Cebu City yesterday (January 18, 2014).

While Agaton has a maximum winds of only 55 kph near the center, it had already surpassed Typhoon Yolanda as a low pressure area. Thus, assuming that the final number of deaths would be lesser than that of Typhoon Yolanda, it had already proven its point. On the other hand, logically, another disaster is needed to complete the 18,000 deaths (inclusive of Typhoon Yolanda deaths) that was estimated in the previous article “Aquino: Is it really not at 10,000“.

Such estimate may still be needed by Filipinos to educate themselves on the combined effects of Roman Catholicism idolatry and oral sex mentality inside President Benigno Aquino III’s urgent Reproductive Health Law.
