4And this is the message: “Those who are evils will not survive, but those who are righteous will live because they are faithful to God”. Is the word “evils” found in Habakkuk 2:4 relevant to superbugs, HIV/AIDS and lust or ‘oral sex’ behaviors of the present generation? Or is it all about scientific knowledge that matters when talking about illnesses?

Also, is there any relationship between diseases and the words of God? This has to be clarified because when infectious diseases and their treatments are discussed, ordinarily, people are inclined to associate them only with medical science, as these diseases are scientifically known to be caused by pathogens, e.g virus, bacteria and fungus.
The remedy in mind is thus more on controlling or mitigating or eliminating these pathogens with antibiotics, anti-viral or anti-fungal medications, respectively.
Also, in terms of prevention, less likely that people would consider the scriptural warnings on misbehavior and more specifically, less likely to believe that God’s ‘curse’ is a factor in the development or pathogenesis of a disease. In fine, majority would not associate illness to violation of God’s words.
Lust or the present ‘oral sex’ behaviors as in same-sex marriage and reproductive health law is a case in point. It is being consistently discouraged in the old and new testaments being evil, especially, the lust present in men-to-men sex.
Science denotes lust as sexual promiscuity. However, despite subscribing to epidemiological reasoning, it failed to consider as valid scientific proof-the prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) in humans, which is directly related to their promiscuous acts. Notably, these STDs are not seen in animals despite the presence of same or far exceeding degree of sexual activities in them.
This is elaborately observed in rabbits, which are highly promiscuous. Specifically, gonorrhea, AIDS, chlamydia trachomatis, syphilis and other STDs are less likely seen in them. Unless, of course, if rabbits would be directly transmitted with STDs by humans.
In terms of results, sexual activities in humans is obviously different compared to animals. Because in humans, the more sexual activities with two or more sexual partners, the more likely that they will get sexually transmitted diseases. Whereas, just like in the case of rabbits, the number of sexual partners in animals is inconsequential in terms of sexually transmitted diseases.
In terms of economic opportunity, the more sex partners in humans, the more it becomes expensive, but in animals, the more sex partners, the better in terms of production.
Why is this so?
This is because of the prohibition of lust in humans, spoken by God, which is not being prohibited in animals. Kindly refer to the oral sex theory, where lust is being discussed directly related to forbidden “eating meat with blood still in it” verse stated in Genesis 9:4 or commonly known today as ‘sexually eating human genitals’ or oral sex.
On the other hand, Kate Kelland, quoting Keiji Fukuda, WHO’s assistant director-general for health security, reports in “Superbugs” that can overpower antibiotics are spreading-WHO (ph.news.yahoo.com), that:
“The spread of deadly superbugs that evade even the most powerful antibiotics is no longer a prediction but is happening right now across the world”.
The same article mentioned gonorrhea and HIV/Aids as follows:
“For gonorrhoea, a dangerous sexually-transmitted disease that infects more than a million people across the world every day, antibiotic treatments are failing fast as superbug forms of the bacteria that causes it outpace them.
At least 10 countries – including Austria, Australia, Britain, Canada, France, Japan, Norway, South Africa, Slovenia and Sweden, now report having patients with gonorrhoea that is totally untreatable”.

“One of the best known superbugs, MRSA, is alone estimated to kill around 19,000 people every year in the United States – far more than HIV and AIDS – and a similar number in Europe.”
Based on the above, technological advances in medicine even more prove the scientifically unacknowledged and unseen hand of God affecting the pathogenesis of diseases by way of ‘curse’. As a preventive measure, it is thus pragmatic to follow the words of God, which are powerful that can cause disability, disease and even early death if violated or disregarded. Besides, the good news concerning eternal life was promised to those who are relying and believing on the same words, as emphasized by Christ.
