Same-sex marriage violates real human rights

After misusing and/or abusing the normal use of some parts of their own body and/or body of another person, are  Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgenders (LGBTs) entitled to invoke their alleged human rights to legally fight for same-sex marriage? Or are they guilty of violating the real human rights, in the first place?

Before settling the raised issues, let us try discussing rights in general and human rights in particular.

What are rights?

Wikipedia discusses rights as follows:

“Rights are legal, social, or ethical principles of freedom or entitlement; that is, rights are the fundamental normative rules about what is allowed of people or owed to people, according to some legal system, social convention, or ethical theory.[1] Rights are of essential importance in such disciplines as law and ethics, especially theories of justice and deontology.

Rights are often considered fundamental to civilization, being regarded as established pillars of society and culture,[2] and the history of social conflicts can be found in the history of each right and its development. According to the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, “rights structure the form of governments, the content of laws, and the shape of morality as it is currently perceived.”[1]”

Human rights are likewise discussed in Wikipedia as follows:

“Human rights are moral principles or norms[1] that describe certain standards of human behaviour, and are regularly protected as legal rights in national and international law.[2] They are commonly understood as inalienable[3] fundamental rights “to which a person is inherently entitled simply because she or he is a human being,”[4] and which are “inherent in all human beings”[5] regardless of their nation, location, language, religion, ethnic origin or any other status.[3] They are applicable everywhere and at every time in the sense of being universal,[1] and they are egalitarian in the sense of being the same for everyone.[3] They require empathy and the rule of law[6] and impose an obligation on persons to respect the human rights of others.[3][1] They should not be taken away except as a result of due process based on specific circumstances,[3] and require freedom from unlawful imprisonment, torture, and execution.[7]”

In short, rights and human rights are relative terms that call for a certain standard of human behavior to protect  individuals  from abuse and discrimination by another person. Also, the terms impose on individuals the duty to respect another as co-equal human beings.

The terms failed however to consider human body as inherently entitled to respect and protection from misuse, abuse and discrimination by one’s self. Above understanding on rights and human rights are therefore incomplete because it failed to consider the most basic aspect of human body’s rights, from which these rights arose. That being so, such understandings are less likely referring to real human rights.

Thus, from the stand point of human anatomy, LGBTs’ proposition on same-sex marriage is erroneous, being considered as an abuse of real human rights. It is because  individuals who are involved in same-sex relationship abuse their body by not respecting their reproductive organ or misusing and/or using their reproductive organ for something else other than procreation or reproduction. Also, the functions of their tongue and anus, which are normally used for tasting foods and excretion of fecal materials, are abused in oral and anal sex, respectively.

In conclusion, LGBTs, being abusers of their own body and body of another person, are therefore in estoppel to invoke their alleged human rights because in the first place, they are guilty  of committing violations of real human rights.
