In the second article, The Living Bible (TLB) translation of 2 Corinthians 3:6 concerning the “old way of trying to be saved by keeping the Ten Commandments of God as the biblical way that ends in death” was noted to be erroneous. It was also held that TLB had in fact interpreted the verse instead of merely translating it from Greek to English version, which is an error in itself.
Further, in the third article, it was held that there is no significant difference in the translation of the same verse between the “letter killeth” in King James Version (KJV) and American Standard Version (ASV) and the “written text that brings death” in International Standard Version (ISV). It was concluded that they are substantially the same.
Now, we will proceed to the proposition on how this letter kills or the written text brings death by focusing first on the phrase ‘x x x ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit x x x‘ (2 Corinthians 3:6, KJV) and ‘x x x ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit x x x ‘ (2 Corinthians 3:6, ASV).
Notably, above phrase states the two categories of ministers such as: 1) ministers of the letter and 2) ministers of the spirit. Obviously, a spirit is an entity, so, therefore, the letter is likewise an entity, if you follow the simple rule of categorizing things, which requires basic commonality between the categories to make the classification of things logically valid.
Also, as the spirit is connected to a belief system, the letter, as an entity, has to be likewise connected to a belief system. Given the above elements, only one would qualify-that is- the letter ‘J’ in Jesus Christ, as it is intimately connected to the development of an entity known today as Jesus Christ, without which, the name Jesus would had never came into existence in the belief systems of Christians.
In the previous discussion, such entity was described as follows:
Secondly-the development of the name ‘Jesus’ is intimately connected to the evolution of letter ‘J’ in the English alphabet, which letter evolved into existence only about 500 years ago, without which, the name would had never existed and may still be Ἰησοῦς (Iēsous) until now, if the alleged Greek translation was sustained.
In short, letter ‘J’, which can be used as a barometer to identify this biblical ‘letter that kills’, was instrumental in the existence of the name ‘Jesus Christ’. In fact, it is the only name that has this peculiar historical character and background. That being so, the Letter ‘J’ in Jesus Christ’ can be specifically denominated as the ‘letter that kills‘ and consequently, Jesus Christ per se and the Christian bible itself, can be denominated as “the written text that brings death“, as a whole.
The practical approach to prove the proposition is illustrated below:
In short, based on the foregoing history, the letter ‘J’ in Jesus Christ is the literal ‘letter that kills’, because the name that has evolved with it had killed the truth in the bible or had converted the truths into lies to the prejudice of all Christians.
Related to this is Mark 7:7, where Christ was quoted saying the Isaiah prophecy: “in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men”( KJV).
Notably, the development of the fictitious name Jesus was due to the presumptive rules on translation-transliteration of name that was adopted by men, which, resulted finally to the replacement of the true Hebrew name of Christ, which, although, is still existing, was, in effect, figuratively converted into spirit by Christians.
Worst, Christians are even proudly and deceptively shouting, posting in Facebook and phrasing the said fictitious name, despite that fact that it never existed in Bethlehem at the time Christ was born until he was crucified.
- ‘J’ is the biblical letter that kills
- Second part of ‘J’ is the biblical letter that kills
- Third part of ‘J’ is the biblical letter that kills
- Concluding part of ‘J’ is the biblical letter that kills
- Grammatical error in ‘Jesus is God’ doctrine
- Are you not scared if Jesus Christ is God?
- Christ logically says: ‘I am not God’
- JESUS or ‘J-ZEUS’ is not coming back
- Jesus is a False Christ
- ‘Jesus is Christ’ doctrine is a big traditional lie
- Christians are revering fictitious Jesus as God
- Christianity in general is a satanic cult
