What is a vaccine against homosexuality? Is there such a thing? This issue may be answered by the statements of Pope Francis when he warned against “administering a vaccine against faith”.  And the publisher fully agrees with him that there is such a thing.

When the Pope mentioned ‘vaccine against faith”, definitely, he is referring to “faith” as a disease because vaccines are only intended to prevent diseases. But when he further warned against ‘administering’ the vaccine, then he logically means that he is warning against the prevention of a disease.

Specifically, the statements are quoted as follows:

“The pontiff said educational leaders should ask themselves “how can we proclaim Christ to a generation that is changing?” “We must be careful not to administer a vaccine against faith to them,” the 77-year-old added.”

This is related to Roman Catholic Alleged Church way of presumably recent rethinking in dealing with the ‘children’ of gay couples and divorced parents. He also said :

“On an educational level, gay unions raise challenges for us today which for us are sometimes difficult to understand,” Francis said in a speech to the Catholic Union of Superiors General in November, extracts of which were published on Italian media websites on Saturday.(http://ph.news.yahoo.com)

Though the Church has often been in conflict with the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community over its opposition to same-sex marriage and to homosexuality, Francis has drawn praise for attempts to be inclusive.

In July he reached out to gays, declaring that “if someone is gay and seeks the Lord with good will, who am I to judge?”

And in December, the Advocate magazine — dedicated to the gay and lesbian community — chose the head of the Catholic Church as the “single most influential person of 2013 on the lives of LGBT people.”(http://ph.news.yahoo.com)

In fine, the Pope is pro-gay. And he is warning against “administering a vaccine” for that kind of faith, which “spiritual” vaccine, states as follows:

22No man is to have sexual relations with another man; God hates that.(Leviticus 18:22,TEV)

But, of course, the spiritual vaccine being intended only for children may no longer be effective in “experienced” adult homosexuals. Thus, despite the love of Pope Francis for gays, God is  still entitled to hate and punish the sexual relations of a man with another man.

    The pope isn’t “pro-gay,” he’s pro humanity.

Can you prove your opinion with facts? It is because if the Pope believes in the bible. more specifically Leviticus 18:22 or if he is really pro-humanity, he should not uttered the words which encourage homosexuality by giving it the same treatment at par with the normal behavior of humanity. Perhaps, you miscalculated how fatal it is to humanity if homosexuality be promoted by majority of people, which by history, was proven to be dangerous, e.g Sodom and Gomorrah incident. In short, encouraging homosexuality in society effectively encourages destruction, which is not pro-humanity at all.

      • Brooke says:

Pro humanity means god created individuals who are different and unique. God is love. That is his being.

        • aaphil says:

That is how you were taught about God. But you must be taught also about Leviticus 18:22, where homosexuality is stated to be an abomination to the Creator. In simple terms, therefore, homosexuality is not part of love.Hence, the utterance of the Pope would not support your theory on love in humanity.

          • Brooke says:

So if you follow that verse in Leviticus, I’m sure you follow all the others too….?

            • aaphil says:

Except for the names ‘Lord’ in Isaiah 42:8 and other verses and Jesus in the new testament…because, Lord is not a name and historically, there was no Jesus name that ever existed when the messiah was here on earth, respectively, I follow the others too..
